As TomKat KoolPak’s exclusive Indonesian partner, Sandvest facilitated the company’s entry in providing bring reusable, traceable cold chain packaging to Indonesia, supporting more sustainable logistics through circular economy innovation.
Sandvest partnered with TomKat KoolPak, an award-winning Australian climate technology company, to introduce sustainable cold chain logistics solutions to the Indonesian market. As TomKat's exclusive local partner, Sandvest is supporting the deployment of KoolPak, a patented, reusable, fully recyclable, and NFC-enabled packaging system designed to replace single-use expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam). Integrating real-time location and temperature monitoring, the technology is well suited to Indonesia's food, pharmaceutical, and medical logistics sectors while advancing more sustainable supply chains.
Already successfully trialled with leading regional companies including Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) in Thailand, KoolPak addresses a global cold chain logistics market projected to reach US$72.8 billion by 2032. Its environmental impact is equally compelling: one million KoolPaks, each reused ten times, can eliminate approximately 55,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions compared with single-use Styrofoam. The partnership reflects Sandvest's commitment to advancing circular economy solutions and supporting the commercialisation of innovative climate technologies in Indonesia.
