As Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Sintesa Group, Shinta Kamdani oversees the management and strategic growth of one of Indonesia's leading diversified business groups, with 16 subsidiaries spanning property, energy, industrial products, and consumer products. Her extensive experience in business leadership, sustainable investment, and cross-sector collaboration has made her a prominent voice in shaping Indonesia's private sector and investment landscape.

Beyond her executive role, Shinta is actively involved in numerous business, policy, and sustainability initiatives. She serves as Chair of the Employers' Association of Indonesia (APINDO); Coordinating Vice Chairwoman for Human and Cultural Development at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia); Vice Chair and Executive Board Member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC); Chair of the ESCAP Sustainable Business Network (ESBN); and Commissioner of Danone Indonesia (PT Tirta Investama). She is also the founder of the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD), the Indonesia Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (IBCWE), and Angel Investment Network Indonesia (ANGIN), while serving on the boards and advisory bodies of organisations including the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) Indonesia II, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Indonesia, and Business for Nature (BfN).

Her longstanding commitment to advancing sustainable investment and strengthening collaboration between the private sector, government, and international institutions led to her appointment as one of 30 global corporate leaders in the United Nations Global Investors for Sustainable Development (GISD) Alliance, where she was named Co-Chair in 2023. Previously, she served as Chair of B20 Indonesia during Indonesia's presidency of the 2022 G20 Summit, helping shape the global business agenda on behalf of the Indonesian private sector.

Shinta graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in 1989 and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School in 2002. Her contributions to business leadership and sustainable development have earned widespread international recognition, including the Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF) Women of Power Award, the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards' Women Entrepreneur of the Year, Fortune Indonesia's 20 Most Powerful Women, SWA Magazine's Indonesia Most Powerful Women, and Forbes Asia's 50 Over 50 and 50 Powerful Businesswomen. She has also been honoured by the governments of Italy, Sweden, and Belgium for her contributions to business and international cooperation.
